The community of Phatthalung strongly believes that the sustained happiness of its residents, known as the "people of Phatthalung," can be achieved through a collaborative effort to design the "future of Phatthalung." This involves a threefold process of 1) thinking together, 2) working together, and 3) managing resources together. In pursuit of this vision, the "people of Phatthalung" have established the "Council for Driving Community Development towards Comprehensive Provincial Transformation in Phatthalung." This council aims to engage the community network in jointly creating people, building the city, and designing the development plan for Phatthalung. It is founded on the core belief that the development of democracy should begin at the grassroots community level, serving as a crucial path towards the realization of "Phatthalung, the Metropolis of Happiness."
